[entering the boring way is, well, boring, but at least Catduggery is guaranteed to survive the transition. and it does give the Captain time to perfect looking cool and collected for the minute or so it'll take Skulduggery to reach him.]

[he makes a little show of pretending to be considering it, but it's ruined a bit by how he presses into the touch.]

Well... You are going to gain firsthand knowledge that I do not like snow. That's a hint.

I could have guessed that much... [but that's on him for not specifying the size of the hint required.

you get what you bargain for; he returns his focus on his clit, rubbing, pinching, possibly more invested in his next orgasm than the Captain himself.]

There are, however, some very, very lovely beds in front of fireplaces... with some very sturdy headboards...

I certainly pity our neighbors... [he bites at one bare shoulder, once sharply, the next more gently.] Tell me more about what we might do when you win.

When I win... [a breathless laugh, and maybe that's what motivates his hips to pick up the pace.] Still want you to tie me up. Bind my ankles apart, so I couldn't close my legs even if I wanted to... [a sharp moan cuts him off, his head falling forward onto his shoulder a bit as he grinds down on him, chasing a peak that suddenly seems a bit more difficult to hit than before.]

[his grip softens in his hair, fingers carding through the strands. it isn't a break -- just a slower lap than the others.]

You know I'll always come back. As if I could leave you like that for long... [his hands slide from their positions, across his back, grabbing his ass and kneading the soft flesh.] You're doing so well, darling. [a quiet laugh] I'm rooting for you, I really am.

Oh... Mm. Like your victory wouldn't be just as interesting... [his nails trace mindless patterns against bone, except for moments when they seem a little bit less mindless, and look a bit more like the lazy swoops of hearts.] Think I'm starting to like games where everyone wins...

[the shapes aren't lost on him. not even the mindless ones. they might as well be seared into the bone.]

Stealing your idea is probably cheap... no matter how much fun it would be. You'll find mine silly in comparison, I'm sure. Especially since I won't know what we could take advantage of in the future...

[he's playfully dancing around one word in particular: boring.]

[rolls eyes, but in a loving fashion.]

So encouraging. [he can't help his fondness, which helps subdue that misplaced embarrassment.] I think... I would like to take you out. Try to romance you. Maybe... mmm. Dancing. Pretending to eat and drink. And when I've had all my fun playing pretend there... well. Sturdy headboards, warm fires... something about you filling me to the marrow... that all sounds fun.

[it does mean people will see. it possibly means confrontations. it's definitely a bad idea... which is why he's not opposed to being the loser, this time around.]

[there is a sound like breath being caught in his throat, and his body comes to a sudden, shaky halt in his lap.

a pause.]

... Four...

[his hands meet at the small of his back, rubbing slow, comforting circles. in for a penny, he figures...]

It's been a long time since I genuinely wanted to take someone out, is all. And you'd be obligated to put up with it, no matter how obnoxious I want to be. You'd even have to dress nicely. Laugh at my jokes, thank me for pulling out your chair...

[now he's just being a sap. ...but, he can't even help himself:]

...Let me ravish you against the door in the hallway, because I certainly won't be able to resist...

[he whines, hiding his face in his shoulder as his limbs continue to shake and twitch at random.]

[it's silly. he thinks so, anyway. but the desire he hears in the Captain's voice resonates with his own passions, and suddenly he can't remember what was so silly to begin with.]

...Good. Because I love you, and I want to show you that.

Love you, mm... But. [he leans back in his lap a bit, looking up at him as he rolls his hips.] Still want to win, though...
